For a bug report, include the app version, Android version and steps to reproduce it if available. Do not include passwords, personal recordings or unnecessary information about a child.
Manage or delete your data
- Study records and settings: open Android Settings → Apps → HanziStep → Storage → Clear storage. This removes local learning history, saved lists and settings. The exact labels depend on your device.
- Temporary recordings: leave the voice practice page normally, or use Clear cache in Android’s app storage settings to remove a recording left by an interrupted session.
- Exported files and backups: delete them separately in the file or backup service where you saved them. Clearing app storage does not remove these copies.
- Optional analytics and crash diagnostics: open HanziStep Settings → Usage & diagnostics → Do not allow to stop future collection and uploads. Already uploaded data is handled under the privacy policy; contact support about identifiable records.
- Information sent to support: email us from the address used for the original request, with the subject “HanziStep privacy request”. Describe which correspondence you want accessed, corrected or deleted. Parents and guardians can contact us for a child.
HanziStep currently has no account to delete. We cannot access or remotely erase files held only on your device. A request concerning service-provider records may require additional information to locate the data, and legal retention requirements may limit deletion. Read the privacy policy for details.

管理或删除数据
- 学习记录和设置：打开 Android 设置 → 应用 → 汉字轻学 → 存储 → 清除存储。这将删除本机学习记录、字表和设置；具体选项名称因设备而异。
- 临时录音：正常离开发音练习页，或在系统应用存储设置中清除缓存，移除异常中断留下的录音。
- 导出文件和备份：在保存它们的文件管理器或备份服务中单独删除。清除应用存储不会删除这些副本。
- 可选统计与崩溃诊断：打开汉字轻学设置 → 使用情况与诊断 → 不允许，停止后续采集和上传。已上传数据按隐私政策处理；涉及可识别记录可联系支持。
- 支持邮件中的信息：使用原先联系支持的邮箱发送主题为“HanziStep 隐私请求”的邮件，说明希望访问、更正或删除的记录。家长或监护人也可以代儿童联系。
当前没有需要删除的应用账号，我们也无法远程访问或清除仅保存在设备上的文件。涉及服务商记录时，可能需要更多信息才能定位；法律保留要求可能限制删除范围。详见隐私政策。
